The Snow

from Disconnection EP by Social Stereo

lyrics

I walked through white quicksand talking to two of my friends. We laughed but I felt sad. For why I couldn't comprehend.

They became dots on a white background, and I saw they began to kiss. Ran over while running out of breath, my hands were clenched into fists.

Grabbed him by the shoulder, but his face I couldn't recognize. The air began to get colder, ran away without meeting your eyes.

The snow drifted down on a blank plain and I felt my feet move fast. The people were all faceless, they were strangers from a different past.

I sprinted through the spaces, my lungs were filled with ice. The building was a beacon, gravitated toward the light.

And I opened the door to the lobby, it was nice and warm inside. The seats were all empty, like I walked into a different time.

Took a seat by the window, as I stretched out on the chair. I looked out at the falling snow. Did nothing else but stare.
